SIDES Participation
The State Information Data Exchange System (SIDES) and SIDES E-Response allow companies to electronically respond to UI information requests from KDOL. This eliminates delays caused by mailing the documents. Once you are enrolled in SIDES you can use your Employer PIN to access the SIDES site.

Labor Market Report July 2017
Preliminary estimates reported by the Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL) and Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) show a seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 3.7 percent in July. This was unchanged from June and down from 4.2 percent in July 2016. Read more here.

What is reasonable assurance; who is considered a school employee; how is eligibility for unemployment benefits determined and more can be found at https://www.getkansasbenefits.gov/FAQs/Employers.aspx. School employees or educators who have a written or verbal agreement to return to work will need to complete documentation to determine their eligibility.
