E–mail Hearing Notices

That's right! Effective January 1, 2008, the Division now sends Notice of Hearings by e-mail. From now on, each time we receive an Application for Hearing, all parties will receive the Notice of Hearing by e-mail.

We know your time is important and immediate notification via e-mail means you can begin scheduling long before the posted mail arrives each day.

To make automated notification happen, the parties involved with a workers compensation hearing must submit the information necessary for us to create a contact record. Once your record is established, each time the Division receives an application which lists you as a party to a case you will receive a Notice of Hearing by e-mail automatically.

If you haven't submitted your contact information, you can do so by sending the required information below to WCNotices@dol.ks.gov.

  • Your e-mail address (we accept only one e-mail address for each claimant, employer, carrier, and/or attorney)
  • Your name or company's name
  • Your physical address (city, state and zip code)
  • Your telephone number (including area code)
  • Your role (employer, injured employee, insurance carrier or attorney)
  • Companies with multiple offices which have a centralized site for postal and other deliveries - submit only one e-mail address for all.
  • Companies with multiple offices which each receive their own postal and other deliveries - must submit e-mail addresses for each location.
  • If the e-mail address you've enrolled changes for any reason, notify us right away.
  • If you have questions for the Division's Application Unit you can telephone (785) 296-8481 or submit your questions to wc@dol.ks.gov.
