Everything you need to know about Kansas Workers Compensation

The official resource for the most reliable workers compensation information for professionals in Kansas – the Kansas Department of Labor’s annual Workers Compensation Seminars – will be held in two locations during September.

The seminars are September 8 & 9 in Overland Park and September 23 & 24 in Wichita.

Those attending will learn from some 37 experts, including Assistant Attorney General Marty Snyder and Disciplinary Administrator Stan Hazlett, about a variety of workers compensation issues and regulations.

The two-day events each will feature more than 20 classes on topics from workers compensation basics to in-depth discussion of current, actual issues. Presenters include lawyers and physicians with extensive experience in the workers compensation field. Another seminar benefit is the opportunity for networking with other professionals in the field, as well as exhibits which highlight the latest in applicable technology, products and services.

The early two-day registration rate of $120 is available through August 24 for the Overland Park location (Overland Park Marriott) and September 8 for the Wichita location (Hilton Wichita Airport). After those dates, the seminar registration rate is $140. Single day registration also is available at $80. Continuing education credits are offered.

The full agenda for the 34th Annual Workers Compensation Seminars, and well as registration information, can be found at http://www.dol.ks.gov/wc/html/wc_events_DBR.html.
