The Kansas Department of Labor is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to work in the Contributions/Benefit Payment Control unit.

As a Senior Administrative Assistant, you will:

• Answer incoming phone lines, route calls to appropriate staff and respond to telephone inquiries.
• Negotiate repayment agreements, reductions of offsets, setoff and amnesty offers.
• Research collection reports.
• Communicate with internal/external customers regarding overpayment and answer general questions about agency policy and procedures.
• Perform data base work, including editing and entering information.
• Maintain filing system

Minimum Qualifications: One year of experience in general office, clerical and administrative support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

The person in this position plans and creates a wide variety of IVR/CTI applications on the Genesys system based on the needs of individual work unit(s). The position utilizes knowledge of the CIM platform, and manages numerous interfaces while monitoring the system’s efficiency and making system changes to maximize efficiency.

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelors degree in MIS or computer science. Requires 4-6 years IT experience with two years of Genesys experience and knowledge of Genesys Voice Platform and IVR functions, specifically Text-to-Speech and Speech Recognition. Education may be substituted for experience. Salary negotiable.
