Workplace Safety

Kansas Safety Awards Program (KSafe)

KSafe recognizes Kansas employers who have worked to achieve safe work environments for their employees. Any employer in the state may apply for one of the many award levels.

The KSafe program is open to any private employer within the state (Construction and/or Industrial). There are four different eligible levels of recognition:

  • 100,000 work hours without a lost time injury
  • 500,000 work hours without a lost time injury
  • 1,000,000 work hours without a lost time injury
  • Meritorious awards

Our goal is to encourage Kansas employers to develop and maintain safe work environments, which will in turn reduce the number and severity of employee injuries.
