Guiding Injured Workers

A new tutorial devoted to helping injured workers understand their rights and responsibilities is now available online.

The Injured Worker's Online Tutorial provides injured workers with important information about required timeframe's and benefit eligibility. The tutorial also explains what can be done if no agreement to their claim can be made.

Richard Thomas, Administrator for the Ombudsman Unit and Carol Cast, Coordinator of Employer Services wrote the tutorial. They are currently working on a tutorial for employers, which is planned for release early this year.

If you have questions about the Injured Worker's Online Tutorial
call (785) 296-2996 or send your question by e-mail to wc@dol.ks.gov.
