Kansas has implemented changes in the state tables regarding:
- DN0074 – Claim Type Code (Edit Matrix Table)
- DN0217 – Payee (Element Requirement Table
The validation edits that generated Error 042 (Not Statutorily Valid) and Error 058 (Code/ID Invalid) for Claim Type Codes 'M', 'B', and 'W' have been removed. These Claim Type Codes are valid on SROI transactions when reporting medical settlement payments and should no longer trigger these validation errors.
Updated DN0217 (AR requirement) – AR is no longer required for non-payment SROI MTCs (04, CD, EP, FN, UR, AN) and is retained only for AP, IP and PY to align with IAIABC standards.
