Continuing Education

All continuing education for the Safety and Health Conference is on a self-submittal system. The conference will provide objectives, a program and attendance certificate (upon request). If your occupation requires continuing education credits to maintain licensing or certification and you need proof of attendance to file for credits on your own, you must sign in at the registration desk BEFORE you attend sessions.

Get ready for some Music Bingo and Cornhole! This year we've decided to hold the Annual Cornhole Event immediately following the Vendor Reception for a fun filled night of reception activities!

Special Accommodations

All reasonable attempts will be made to accommodate special needs. Persons with special needs are encouraged to report them at the time of registration to Dena.Ackors@ks.gov.

Helpers to persons with special needs are not required to register and can take part in all conference activities except the seated luncheons. Helpers can purchase extra lunch tickets in advance at $25 each by contacting Dena.Ackors@ks.gov or purchase the tickets on site at the registration desk.

Annual Cornhole Event

The Safety & Health Council of Western Missouri & Kansas (SHCMOKS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Cornhole Event will help fund a scholarship at Pittsburg State University (PSU) for students pursuing careers in Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health or related fields. Taking donations for the scholarship fund during the event.
