The unit has trained industrial hygienists on staff to help monitor air particulates and take sound level readings. There may be a minimal charge for air sampling.

Under state law K.S.A. 44-636, Industrial Safety and Health (ISH) consultants will respond to employee complaints concerning unsafe working conditions. The complaint can be made anonymously. If a public service EMPLOYEE has a complaint concerning unsafe working conditions while performing their job, please complete the EMPLOYEE Notice of Alleged Safety or Health Hazard form.

NOTE: Private sector employees and members of the general public can report unsafe working conditions to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) by calling 316-362-2896.
