Amusement Ride Act Permit Program
The Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL) Industrial Safety and Health (ISH) Division provides oversight for the inspections of most amusement rides and attractions. Every ride and attraction is required by Kansas Code to be inspected prior to its first use in the State each year. Look for an inspection decal with the current year to indicate the ride has a valid permit to operate.
