LOOK WHO'S SHARP
The Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) provides incentives and support to small, high-hazard employers to work with their employees to develop, implement and continuously improve the effectiveness of their workplace safety and health programs. A listing of Kansas SHARP companies is found here.
Companies that have qualified for SHARP can participate in the SHARP Association. This self-governing group serves members by networking about workplace safety and mentoring one another through idea sharing. For more information on the Kansas SHARP Association click here.
OSHA staff met with various SHARP company employers representing Community HealthCare Systems, Lowen Corporation, Farrar Company and Underground Vaults, to discuss any concerns regarding the SHARP program and OSHA Initiatives.
