The Medical Services and Fee Schedule Section oversees the Kansas Department of Labor’s Workers Compensation fee schedule for medical services provided to injured workers. The schedule is updated every two years to ensure fair rates, control healthcare costs, and maintain access to necessary care.

The section also manages healthcare utilization and peer review plans, resolves billing disputes, and serves as a liaison among healthcare providers, attorneys, employers, employees, and insurers.

Medical fee disputes can be submitted through the secure, HIPAA-compliant OSCAR system—a simple two-step webform with automatic email updates and status tracking. Find help on submitting disputes through OSCAR.
